esafety
E-safety
is essential in any eTwinnig or Erasmus project.Working on line brings a huge
range of benefits and opportunities for teachers and students, but it also
presents risks. Filtering and monitoring are two methods that schools can
implement to avoid risk. But education is very important, too.
Teachers
are responsible of keeping pupils eSafe while carrying out eTwinning projects.
Here
there are some tips given by Aneta Wilk in the eTwinning groupBringing eSafety into eTwinning projects
In the subpages we
present our eSafety rules, including the parental consent and our netiquette
roles. We also inform about copyright, and how to cite a web or a book. Finally
a list of sites where the students can download images and music is available
for students.

https://school-education.ec.europa.eu/en/etwinning/projects/assemblywomen-womens-voices-ancient-modern-times/twinspace/pages/parental-consent
parental consest
It
is important to get consent from the parent, guardian or carer of a young
person up to the age of 18 (this is called ‘parental consent’) to autorize
both, participation in the project and dissemination of images of the students.
We
send a consent form to parents to cover the period of 24 month that their
children will spend at our project.

HOW TO CITE A WEBSITE
Michelle Golden, PhD
PhD in English, Georgia State University
1.- Start your reference list entry with the name of the author.
If an individual author is listed, type their last name first,
followed by a comma, then their first and middle initials (if a middle initial
is given. Usually, the author of a website will be the government agency,
organization, or business that owns the website. In that case, list the name of
that entity followed by a period.
Example: Canadian Cancer Society.
2.- Add the year the website or page was published.
If a publication date is provided next to the content you are
citing, include that year in parentheses after the name of the author. Place a
period after the closing parentheses. If no date is provided for the specific
content you're citing, use the abbreviation "n.d." (for "no
date") inside the parentheses. Do not use the copyright date for the
website itself.
Example: Canadian Cancer Society. (2017).
3.- Type the title of the web page in sentence case.
Type a space after the period that follows the date, then type the
title of the web page, which will usually appear as a header at the top of the
page. Use sentence case, capitalizing only the first word and any proper nouns.
Place a period at the end of the title.
Example: Canadian Cancer Society. (2017). Cancer
research.
If the content you're citing is a stand-alone document, the
title should be italicized. This will usually be the case if you're citing a
PDF document that appears on a website. If you're not sure, use your best
judgment in deciding whether to italicize it or not.
4.- Close with the direct URL of the web page.
Copy the full direct URL or permalink of the content you want to
cite. Type the words "Retrieved from," then past the URL into your
entry. Do not place a period at the end of the URL. If the URL is overly long,
ask your instructor or supervisor if you can use a shortened link.
Example: Canadian Cancer
Society. (2017). Cancer research. Retrieved from
http://www.cancer.ca/en/cancer-information/cancer-101/cancer-research/?region=on
APA Reference List Format:
Author Last Name, A. A./Institution (Year). Title of web page in
sentence case. Retrieved from URL

create international teams in order to collaborate and cooperate all together!
To help you to choose
your team, you could play a quizz that will make you discover some inspiring
Antic women.
1. All the students play the personality quizz in order to discover
some mythologic women in classical theater
2.
The students choose a

n the
first phase of our research we worked on inspirational women of the past. Now
we are going to focus on women of the present. To do so, we will follow the
following steps:
1. Interview a woman who inspires you from your environment.
2. Upload the interview to digipad in the column with the name of the woman
from the past with whom you think she is related (don't forget to indicate your
names and school).
3. Explain in the comments the reason for your choice, i.e. the relationship
between the woman of the past and the woman of the present.
4. Read or watch the interviews and choose a woman from another country that
inspires you.
5. Go to the discussion, explain the reason for your choice and comment on the
choice of your mates from other schools.

Dissemination
is a crucial component of any eTwinning project, serving as the bridge between
project activities and the broader community. It ensures that the goals,
achievements, and impacts of the project reach beyond the immediate
participants, fostering a sense of inclusivity and shared success. Effective
dissemination not only raises awareness and enhances the visibility of the
project but also engages stakeholders, from students and teachers to parents
and local communities, creating a supportive and informed network. Moreover, by
sharing best practices, resources, and outcomes, dissemination promotes
sustainability and encourages the adoption of innovative educational practices
across different settings. Ultimately, dissemination amplifies the project's
impact, transforming individual experiences into collective learning and
growth, and reinforcing the value of collaborative educational initiatives.
